a quick update.

I'm back! After an amazing, impactful mission trip to Haiti, I feel very refreshed and ready to get back into the routine of things. 

The trip was absolutely incredible. So much progress has been made since the earthquake - physically and spiritually - and God is doing amazing things there. Our team painted buildings, visited orphanages, and basically showed as much love as we could to the sweet Haitians. I hope the Instagram snapshots give you a glimpse of the joy in that place! 

Right after the trip was my birthday, and it was absolutely marvelous. My family treated me well - dinner and a Broadway show. They know me so well! 

So that's what's up in my world. I can't wait to catch up with you all and visit around my favorite blogs. I miss you dears!

I hope your Valentine's Day was simply wonderful! Mine was dandy. I sat at home watching chick-flicks and gorging on chocolate for my special day. Hoping yours was a bit more romantic and eventful than mine! Hehe! 

Anywho, I'm sad to say that this week I'm going to take a little break from my dearly-beloved blog world because I am going on a mission trip to Haiti. I am extremely excited about this amazing opportunity, and I can't wait to see what God will unfold on this trip. However, I obviously won't be able to do any posting from the grounds. :(

In the meantime, I will miss you dears and I will be looking forward to catching up when I get back! I'll be sure to update on a few highlights ASAP.
